This was my first weekend off since the beginning of June.  Senior season really knocked me on my butt!  Then my husband was out of town most of last week and there was school prep.  Whew!

On Saturday afternoon Elena and I met at the Minnesota State Fair to take in the sights and take some photographs.  And apparently it was urgent that I discover cheese curds.  They were super rich and tasted like mozzarella cheese sticks.

On Saturday it rained - again - and my youngest decided that he was not only going to dress himself (love it) but he was going to take a flying leap into the biggest puddle he could find...in his dinosaur slippers.

First day of school

And then on Monday morning it was back to school time in our neck of the woods.  I can't believe I have a first grader.  How does this happen??  Wasn't he just my little four pound baby with the tiny cry?!
