Recipe | Chicken Kabobs




Ingredients per serving:
  • 4 oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast - cubed | 124 cal
  • 10 oz White Mushrooms - whole | 63 cal
  • 1 1/2 oz White or red Onion - quartered | 12 cal
  • 3 oz Tomato - quartered  | 15 cal
  • 3 oz Green Pepper - seeded and cubed | 18 cal
  • Butter Spray (I Can't Believe Its Not Butter)  | 0 cal 
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, onion and paprika - to taste | 0 cal

Directions:

  • Place chicken in a bowl and coat with butter spray
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic, onion and paprika to taste then mix, ensuring that they are all coated.   
  • In a separate bowl combine Mushrooms, onion, green pepper and tomato then spray with butter spray to coat and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic, onion and paprika to taste then mix to coat.
  • Using either Metal or wood (soaked in water) skewers push one piece of each on the skewer alternating through all pieces till both bowls are empty.  

Roasting in oven:
In a 400 degree oven roast in a pan on a rack for 30 minutes.

On the grill:
On a hot grill place kabobs over heat turning as they darken till all are soft and roasted.
